Concerts and recitals

The Church and Pelican Centre represent the perfect pairing of spaces for performance and refreshments.

The Church of the Resurrection has a lively resonant acoustic and is an inspiring space for musical performance. We have hosted many concerts, recitals, and recordings, from solo instrumental to chamber groups, featuring private music teachers and their students, Art Song Perth, the Giovanni Consort, Melismatica, and the Fremantle Chamber Orchestra.

The Pelican Centre provides you with the option of an extra space in which to serve refreshments. With a modern kitchen, tea- and coffee-making facilities, the Centre offers an inspiring space in which to take a break or stretch your legs either during the interval or after your event.

A full tariff is available for concert hire. The use of our Kawai RX-2 grand piano, which is tuned regularly and easily fills the resonant space, is included.
